The large front page picture with text overlay was unique among the websites of the three major cable news outlets. It commanded attention in a very elegant, but understated way, much in the same manner a large mast head does in a newspaper. I used to love visiting the site, just to see the graphic behind the main headline. It made it seem so commanding, so important. The redesign ruins the one thing about MSNBC's website that made it unique. What a shame. MSNBC might not be my preferred new site anymore.

All-nighters and innovation

Please bring back the old site. If it aint broke don't fix it.

All-nighters and innovation

Where is the "personalization module" mentioned in Help? I think it traded its elegant delivery for an ugly simplicity. The banner headline and the condensed headlines made it easy to figure out what was going on in the world. Now it's just a few headlines and a lot of scrolling and page hopping. The site looks more lke CNN.com more than any thing else. I suppose its not bad but it certainly isn't better.

All-nighters and innovation

love it! keep up the great work!

All-nighters and innovation

Great re-design of the MSNBC website. It has always been my favorite sight for news, and now it is so much better!!
